Sure, do whatever you want. This is your forum just as much as anyone else's!

The only thing is, did you download and install KB 3050265, first? That's supposed to do the same job more simply, prevent future GWX updates from being detected and downloaded by Windows update. Google on the KB to get and download it, or use the video description here:
