Topic review - Denominational Debates Don't Go Here.
Author Message
Post subject:  Denominational Debates Don't Go Here.  Reply with quote
'God Stuff' is about the (disputed) factual existence and nature of God, irrespective of denomination or religion. It's hard to separate the two sometimes, but try to do that. Each denomination/religion has its own characteristic idea of the definition of God, and yeah it needs to be said; yet it helps to extrapolate the idea to just the characteristics posited, and then debate how much evidence of those characteristics pertains.. right? If you disagree, lemme know.

The goal is to think things out yourself. If there really is a God, then He created you and wants you to be free and sovereign, too. So the only way to get free and sovereign, is to use your freedom and sovereignty to learn how to think competently. So in that sense, it matters more how you go from A to Z, then whether you even get to Z.

Else, put the denominational/religion debates in the Religion subforum, click here.
