Topic review - Java script keeps overloading.

Did you try turning YesScript off and see if it still happens? Javascript will hang browsers if the browser can't read the code properly due to age or poor coding (re: internet explorer), or plugins.

I have a high suspicion YesScript is the problem (unless the blacklisting is heuristic, it's going to break things).

Anyone know why java script keeps overloading on certain pages? I get notifications that tell me java script is not functioning correctly. That I can either stop java script. Continue letting it run. Or, hit a debug button that seems to do nothing to fix anything. No matter what I choose the browser freezes.

I use Firefox. I installed one extension (YesScript) that allows you to blacklist running java script on a selected page. But, when I do, I can not use certain features to function on that page. After Googling this considerably still no one seems to know a solution... Or, even the real cause.

Any suggestions? :scratchead:
