Debate or display or discuss Bible Contradictions or Discrepancies. Be aware that whatever you might think wrong, someone else proved right decades ago, so it would behoove you to GOOGLE FIRST and research your claims. But, you're still free to rant if you like and someone else is free to rebut you.

Or, maybe you found a genuine problem? Okay, do tell!

Genesis in Greek means 'siring'. It's not a word in the original OT, but was given to the first Bible book by Jews translating the LXX, apparently. So it is often thought of as a book on the origin of the universe, but instead is on the Generation of Christ, how HE came to be.

Greek term's Focus is on the PARENT, not the offspring: siring of universe, flora and fauna, of man, of sin, of the Jews. Timeline doesn't begin until Adam's fall, and it ends with Jacob's death. So Genesis is not about initial creation's timing; but for centuries it's been used to debate initial creation's timing, versus evolution or whatever.

So you can park those debates, here.

This topic needs a whole forum itself, because everyone and his brother argues over what the Bible says the Gospel is, that 'saves' you from hell. I don't understand why people argue about it. John 3:16 is merely a restatement of Genesis 15:6, BELIEVE HE PAID and you are forever saved.

Yet many add verbs, say you can lose your salvation, say that you must be a good person, etc. to be saved? WHERE IS THAT IN THE BIBLE? Or, what do you think the Gospel is?

DEBATE/DISCUSS here, if you're inclined...

What is Heaven, per Bible? Why is what's said about Heaven, there? What kind of society? Where are the angels, OT people, NT people? Where are the Jews versus or with, the Gentiles? Why neither male nor female? Will we be able to see Lake of Fire? Park all such and any other related questions, here.

Debate King James Onlyism here. For it, against it, proving it's in Bible, proving it's not in Bible.. you know the arguments. Hint: the more you reason out your posts, the more you pay attention to grammar and syntax and spelling, the more your thoughts will get heard. I won't participate much in this forum, as I think KJVO is a scam, and made a lot of videos on it in Youtube (KJVOB moniker). So it's time for other voices to chime in.

In Peter and the later Hebrews, the theme is on how we are Royal Priests. You see the same theme running in James 'royal law', and sotto voce in Paul's Ephesians 1-2 (in 1). So what is the Royal Priesthood about? I tried to cover it in http://www.brainout.net/LordvSatan3.htm .. but you'll have your own ideas. You can create threads for those ideas, here.

What is spiritual maturation? Kinda like the God question, denominations form and divide over this question, too. If you're going to make a denominational answer, look in the Other Stuff forum under Religion, and start something there. This topic is meant to just thrash out the variables of what constitutes, spiritual maturation?

If you're a Bart Ehrman fan and think you've a Bible 'gotcha' to prove Scripture not Divine, bring it on! But um -- be sure you can READ the mss, or you'll be embarrassed by effective rebuttals already on the net, or in the text. Do your OWN homework, lest you be lambasted for bad scholarship, k?
