Half of big can Libby's pumpkin, put in 1.5q or bigger pitcher; at 1.5q, it fills half the pitcher.
Fill other half with powdered milk, dry.
Add vanilla to taste, at least 2 tbsp.
Add cold water, stir slowly so to well mix the pumpkin at the bottom.
Keep adding water until pitcher filled again. At this point you can use a whisk.
Sprinkle over it, allspice, cinnamon, etc.
Give it about a few minutes to bloom. Taste.
Add sweetner if and as desired.
Chill. Should also work well warm.
Note: you can mix in whey protein or yeast or other goodies you like in smoothies. Due to the consistency of the pumpkin, the mixture usually doesn't need later restirring. I keep a spare chopstick in the pitcher, just in case.
